2023 All Star Process

The All-star season is an exciting time to form new teams and create even more baseball memories. While most of the tournament rules mirror those in the regular season, there are some key differences that parents need to be aware of:
- 3 Teams are formed: 10U, 11U and 12U
- All players league age 8-12 years old who are currently on a roster of AAA or Majors team with OVLL are eligible.
- Tournaments start at the District level (District 5 for OVLL).
- Eligible players - Any Oro Valley Little league player who has participated in eight regular season games before the start of tournament play
- Enrollment in All-Stars is completely optional and while it is a privilege to play, it is also an added commitment with added practices and games, and as such the league will be encouraging players to be committed and engaged.
- Tournament play rules are slightly different than regular season and allow for a more competitive approach to managing and coaching a team.

Applications for both players and managers/coaches have been emailed to all. For those interested in playing in All-Stars, a meeting will be held Wednesday May 24th @ 5:30PM @ Field 3 3rd Base Bleachers. The forms must be returned at the All-Star meeting (or in advance to the Player Agent) for All-Star consideration. We highly recommend attending the meeting if you are interested in applying for All-Stars.
